Court Museum Bad Fredeburg
The court museum in the Schmallenberg district of Bad Fredeburg is dedicated to the history of crime. It is located on the top floor of the Schmallenberg District Court building at Im Ohle 6 .
The museum offers, among other things, depictions of remote jurisdiction and historical execution of sentences . A pyre with reference to the burning of witches can be viewed as well as an originally furnished prison cell .
Old work equipment and furnishings should bring a bygone working world closer to the judiciary .
The museum's library has legal literature from the 19th century.
