The Lithuanian Chamber of Bailiffs (lit. Lietuvos antstolių rūmai , LAR ) is an association in which bailiffs are organized and which represents their interests. The Chamber of Bailiffs has powers under public law, for example in the area of ​​the appointment of bailiffs or with regard to disciplinary measures. In addition, the Chamber of Bailiffs also acts as a professional interest group . The Chamber of Bailiffs was established in Lithuania when, in 2003, enforcement was transferred from the state to private persons (bailiffs).
