history

The German Offroad Masters was held for the first time in 2007 at the Nürburgring, and later at various venues. A racing series with four races has been held since 2008 and in 2009 the first 24-hour race over around 1000 km was held. Well-known drivers are, for example, the FIA -Baja rally European vice-champion Josef Sykora (2007) as well as Thomas Wallenwein and Ellen Lohr , who first took part in the 24-hour race in 2011.

In 2012, 2015 and 2016, the Dakar Rally winner Jutta Kleinschmidt took part in the 24-hour race.
