The SV Germania Adelsheim is a German sports club founded in 1919 , with headquarters in the small town of Adelsheim in the Neckar-Odenwald district of Baden-Württemberg .

The team rose to the 1950/51 season in the newly introduced third-class 1st Amateur League North Baden . There was then with 5:55 points over the 16th and thus last place in the table after only one season of immediate relegation. Thus, the club had to compete in the 2nd amateur league from the next season.

For the 1981/82 season then again succeeded in promotion to the Landesliga Odenwald , where the team was able to complete with 40:26 points in sixth place in the table. After the next season, the team had to relegate to 12th place with 22:30 points. A further rise in the national league succeeded again in the 1987/88 season, from this the team rose with 19:33 over the 13th place but then immediately again.

In the 2003/04 season, the club played in the district league Buchen and ended the season there with 34 points in 10th place. For the next season it became the Buchen District League . After the 2010/11 season the club from this had then with only 17 points over the 15th and last place in the table in the District Class A dismount. The team then finished the first season in the district class with 30 points in 10th place. After the 2014/15 season, he was finally promoted to the district league again with 68 points and the championship title. One league higher, the sports club was able to hold its own with 35 points over 13th place in the league. One season later, however, with 32 points and 15th place, relegation was due again. After relegation, the team formed a syndicate with the DJK SG Oberkessach . Together the community still plays in the district class A Buchen .

As a further department, the club has, among other things, a table tennis department, the first team of which currently plays in the association league.
