Gero Theo Beckmann

Gero Theo Beckmann (* 1962 ) is a German veterinarian specializing in microbiology and an author .

Life

Beckmann received his doctorate in 1990 from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover , currently (2014) heads the Hygiene & Consulting department at the Romeis Institute in Bad Kissingen , and received the Wallhäußer Prize in 2014 for his life's work in the field of microbiology. The award was based on a publication from 2013 ( Microbiological Incident: The NECC Case (New England Compounding Center) , GMP Journal 28, July / August 2013).
