Geronimo is a song by the Danish singer Aura Dione . It was released on September 19, 2011 and is the first single from their album Before the Dinosaurs . The song reached the charts in many countries and became a number 1 hit in Germany , Denmark and Austria, and the second in Germany after I Will Love You Monday (365) . The single achieved platinum status in Germany and Denmark and gold status in Austria and Switzerland. The song is about not lying to yourself and living your dreams.
