Gerrit Frotscher
Gerrit Frotscher (born September 23, 1943 in Arnstadt ) is a German lawyer .
Life
From 1963 to 1967 he studied law at the universities of Frankfurt am Main and Göttingen (1967 first state legal examination before the judicial examination office at the higher regional court in Celle ). From 1967 to 1971 he completed his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg (1971 major state legal examination before the examination office at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg). From 1971 to 1978 he was a government councilor and senior government councilor in the Hamburg financial administration (teaching at the state finance school as a sideline). After receiving his doctorate in 1974 from the University of Göttingen as Dr. iur. From 1979 to 2003 he worked for the international Shell Group in the field of international tax law at Deutsche Shell AG. From 1999 to 2008 he taught as a professor for tax law with a focus on foreign and international finance and tax law at the University of Hamburg .
