Gertrude "Trude" Kolar , married Gertrude Gollner , (born January 23, 1926 in Graz , † December 22, 2014 in Berlin , Germany ) was an Austrian gymnast .

successes

With her victory on the swing rings at the World Cup in Basel in 1950 , she became the only Austrian to date to achieve a world championship in gymnastics. In the same title fights, she also won the silver medal in the horse jump and the bronze medal in the all-around competition.

She took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1948 in London she took 6th place in the team competition with the Austrian gymnastics team, and in 1952 in Helsinki she was 10th in the same discipline.

Kolar won 19 Austrian gymnastics championship titles, three times (1950, 1952, 1953) Austrian national champion in all-around. On December 22nd, 2014 she died after a long and serious illness in her house in Berlin-Friedrichshagen .
