The rules of procedure of the Federal Council ( GO BR ) regulate the internal business activities of the Federal Council . Due to the continuity of the Bundesrat, in contrast to the rules of procedure of the German Bundestag (GO BT), it does not require confirmation at certain time intervals. It is published in the Federal Law Gazette .
In addition to general provisions (Section I), the GO BR contains regulations on organs and institutions of the Bundesrat (Section II), preparations, procedural principles and the course of meetings (Section III), the procedure of committees (Section IV), the procedure in matters of European Union (Section IVa) and final provisions (Section V).
