The Rules of Procedure of the European Parliament is based on Art. 232 TFEU (formerly Art. 199 EC Treaty ) adopted rules of procedure of the European Parliament .

The Rules of Procedure themselves consist of 216 articles, which are divided into 14 titles. Some of the articles have been deleted due to changes to the rules of procedure.

  2. Legislation, budget and other procedures (Title II, Art. 35-88),
  3. External relations (Title IIa, Articles 89-102)
  4. Transparency of the work (Title III, Art. 103, 104),

  6. Relations with national parliaments (Title V, Articles 130-132),
  7. Session periods (Title VI, Art. 133-182),
  8. Committees and delegations (Title VII, Articles 183-200),
  9. Petitions (Title VIII, Art. 201-203),
  10. Ombudsman (Title IX, Articles 204-206),
  11. General Secretariat of Parliament (Title X, Art. 207),
  12. Powers with regard to political parties at European level (Title XI, Art. 208-210),
  13. Application and amendment of the rules of procedure (Title XII, Art. 211–212),
  14. Various provisions (Title XIII, Art. 213–216).

It has 20 appendices attached. Annex V has been deleted.
