The protected landscape component of field trees with a size of 0.2 ha is located east of Bödefeld in the urban area of Schmallenberg . The area was designated as a protected landscape component (LB) in 1993 with the Schmallenberg Southeast landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis .

Area description

The protected landscape component field wood is a wood predominantly made of English oak on a small hilltop. The LB is surrounded by intensively used grassland in the Bödefelder Mulde nature reserve .

Protection purpose

Protected object, which, according to the landscape plan, clearly differs in its independent character from the surrounding forest and field landscape.
