Gescher (1996)
Gescher ( Hebrew גֶּשֶׁר, lit. Bridge), officially Gescher - National Social Movement ( Hebrew גשר - תנועה חברתית לאומית, Gesher - Tenu'a Chevratit Le'umit ) was an Israeli party and existed from 1996 to 2003. The party was founded on March 11, 1996, and was chaired by David Levy . It was a splinter party of the Likud .
The following MPs for the Gescher party were in the Knesset : Members of the 13th Knesset in 1996 were David Levy and David Magen after they had left the Likud. Members of the 14th Knesset from 1996 to 1999 were Yehuda Lancry , David and Maxim Levy and from 1999 to 2003 David and Maxim Levy and Mordechai Mishani were members of the 15th Knesset for Gescher .
