Reichsgesetzblatt, 1877

The law on the introduction of the Code of Civil Procedure, EGZPO for short , is a German amending law . The version of January 30, 1877 was published on February 19, 1877 ( Reichsgesetzblatt , Volume 1877, No. 6, pages 244-250). In particular, this law introduced the code of civil procedure in the German Reich (existing between 1871 and 1945): "The code of civil procedure comes into force throughout the Reich at the same time as the Courts Constitution Act".

The law contains transitional provisions on changes to the code of civil procedure. Above all, they regulate the applicability of the amended provisions to pending proceedings.
