The law on the compensation of witnesses and experts ( ZSEG , also ZuSEG ) used to regulate the compensation of witnesses and experts in Germany .

With effect from July 1, 2004, the relevant regulations of the Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act (JVEG) took its place.
