The law introducing a partnership with limited professional liability and amending the professional law for lawyers, patent attorneys, tax advisors and auditors (PartGGuaÄndG) is a federal law of the Federal Republic of Germany .

The law of July 15, 2013 was passed by the Bundestag on June 13, 2013 and came into force on July 19, 2013. It arose from an initiative of the federal government. The Federal Council did not appeal to the mediation committee in the legislative process and approved the draft law on July 5, 2013.

The law provides for the introduction of a partnership with limited professional liability (PartG mbB, PartGmbB, Part mbB or PartmbB), which, as a German alternative to the English legal form Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), enables liability for professional errors to be limited. With the newly introduced PartGmbB, liability towards creditors for damage resulting from incorrect professional practice is limited to the company's assets. The prerequisite for this is the conclusion of professional liability insurance with a minimum sum insured of 2.5 million euros per insured event.
