Gesine Ruge (born May 30, 1985 in Erfurt ) is a German canoeist . She is active for the canoe club Laubegast Dresden . Your exercise bike is Kay Vesely .

At the canoe racing world championships in 2007 she won a gold medal in a two-man kayak over 1000 m together with Judith Hörmann and a bronze medal in a four-man kayak over 1000 m.

Ruge is a sports and English teacher.

She lives in Leipzig .
