Getaway in Stockholm
Getaway in Stockholm was a Swedish film series about illegal street racing . One or two sports cars were equipped with cameras and raced across Stockholm with them, andin individual films a hunt was carried out with the police. The recordings are in the style of the legendary short film C'était un rendez-vous , and recordings from the Swedish tuning scene are shownin the second part of the films. In the summer of 2000 the first film, which was released on VHS, was recorded; since the second film, the recordings have been distributed worldwide on DVD. The films were published and produced by “Getaway in Stockholm Productions” (“GiSProductions” for short).
According to previous Swedish law, a traffic hooligan must be caught red-handed by the police. A similar series are the Ghost Rider films .
