Faithful unity

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Faithful unity was a mine operated from the 17th to the 19th century on the Jugler Gebirge in the Jugelwald in the Johanngeorgenstadt Mining Authority in the western Ore Mountains .

The treasure trove belongs to the tin mines that were operated in the upper Lehmergrund and was located at today's Henneberger wing not far from the location of today's Erzgebirgsschanze . The mined hermaphrodite dike was 24-30 inches thick. In the 18th century, the United Golden Lion and Roman Empire Stolln was driven into the mountain from the Schwefelbach to remove water from this pit. Mining stopped in the middle of the 19th century due to low tin prices. At the beginning of the First World War there were considerations to resume mining in the area.
