Gun

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The boar's weapon is a coveted hunting trophy.

The term gun refers to the canine teeth of a wild boar in the hunter's language . In the male wild boar (boar) the canines in the upper jaw are called haders and in the lower jaw rifles or tusks ; in the female wild boar (brook) they are called hooks .

Canini (Haderer) grow almost steadily in male European wild boars from approx. 57 mm in the annuals to approx. 171 mm in the ten-year-old animals.

The catches ( claws ) of birds of prey are also referred to as weapons in addition to the term weapons. The term for the fangs of bear, wolf and lynx is used less often.
