Rainer Geweke

Rainer Geweke (born September 27, 1955 ) is a former German soccer player .

As a junior player, Geweke moved up to the Wuppertaler SV squad in the 1974/75 Bundesliga season , but without being used. After the descent of the WSV, the striker played 28 games in the 2nd Bundesliga from 1975 to 1977 and scored three goals in these. For Rot-Weiß Oberhausen he scored 17 goals this season in 30 missions in the Oberliga Nordrhein 1981/82 . In the following season, Rainer Geweke switched to league rivals Schwarz-Weiß Essen . With the ETB he only reached a midfield position, but was top scorer of the league season 1982/83 with 30 goals . In the league season 1984/85 Geweke won the runner-up with the black and white team behind local rivals Rot-Weiss Essen . In 1986 he left the ETB and switched to SSVg Velbert .
