The Geyersattel is 631  m above sea level. A. high pass in Lower Austria between the Waxeneck in the north and the Hohen Mandling in the south.

The Geyersattel is an old connection between Pernitz and Berndorf that is no longer used today . From Pernitz you get to Geyer via the Feichtenbach valley , where you climb to the top of the pass. After the saddle there is the Red Cross wayside cross ( Lage ) and you can also see the old ravine. From the Geyersattel, several low-gradient paths lead to Berndorf.

The last wolf in Lower Austria was killed near the Geyersattel on November 20, 1866 by the archducal Forstadjunkten Michael Wagner from the Berndorf district of Steinhof, as a memorial plaque commemorates.

The road used today leads over the neck further to the west .
