The Kalmak-pass ( kirghiz Калмак ашуу Kalmak Ashuu ) is a mountain pass in the area Naryn in Kyrgyzstan ( Central Asia ).
The 3446 m high Kalmak Pass crosses the Songköltoos mountain range . The road over the pass branches off the A365 ( Sarybulak - Naryn ) to the west and runs in a westerly direction through the river valley of the Tölök , left headwaters of the Dschoon-Aryk . Finally, it turns south and over the Kalmak Pass reaches the high mountain lake Songköl in the southwest . The pass road is usually passable between June and October.
