Gheorghe Georgescu (born July 15, 1911 , † after 1940) was a Romanian football player . He played a total of 58 games in the Divizia A .

Career

society

Georgescu moved to CFR Bucharest (later Rapid ) in 1934 . There he became the main force in the storm. With the cup victory in 1935 he won his first title. He contributed three goals to the 6-5 win against Ripensia Timișoara . With the 1936/37 season it was hardly ever used. In 1937 he moved to ACFR Brașov . He returned after a year and ended his career in 1940.

National team

Georgescu played three games for the Romanian national team . He made his debut on June 19, 1935 in the second game of the Balkan Cup against Bulgaria . In the last game of the tournament, national coach Constantin Rădulescu relied on him. The Romanians finished the competition in last place. He played his last international match on September 1, 1935 against Sweden . At 1: 7 he scored his only international goal.
