Ghizlane Samir

Ghizlane Samir (born August 3, 1976 in Casablanca , Morocco ) is a French inline speed skater .

Career

At the age of 16, she moved to Paris and began roller-skating and roller-dancing. It wasn't until 2000 that she tried speed skating. She was quickly able to gain a foothold in the national top. So it twice won the most important racing series in France, the French Inline Cup (2003 and 2005).

At the beginning of the 2003 season she started for the Doby Inline Center International Team, which also meant regular participation in the world's most renowned races, the World Inline Cup (WIC) and the Swiss Inline Cup (SIC). In 2005 she won her first French championship title in the 3,000 m individual time trial. In 2006 she changed teams and now rides for the Cristalp Ladies alongside the Italian Cinzia Ponzetti . In 2007 Samir is a member of the SsangYong Jesa Bont team, for which the German skater Tina Strüver also rides.
