Bernadette Flynn-O'Kane (born August 1, 1979 in Nenagh , County Tipperary , Ireland) is an Irish dancer.

She started dancing at the Browne Academy of Dance when she was four. Her dance teacher was Dorian Brown . In her remarkable Irish dance career, she won the World Championships six times and the All Irelands seven times . From 1996 to 1998 Flynn danced the leading role of "Saoirse" in the very successful and popular dance shows Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames . After Feet of Flames she switched back to Troupe 1 of Lord of the Dance. She is married to the dancer Damien O'Kane, who also dances with Lord of the Dance and mostly dances the role of "Lord". With O'Kane she runs the Flynn-O'Kane Academy of Irish Dance.
