Ghormeh Sabzi

Ghormeh Sabzi ( Persian قُرمه‌سبزی) is a traditional stew of Persian cuisine . The part of the name “ghormeh” stands for stew in Farsi , “sabzi” means herbs . It is made up of three different main herbs ( parsley , fenugreek and field garlic ). You can also add spinach, dill, coriander and chives. It also includes (red) beans that are cooked in oil and water for a longer period of time until the oil is on the surface of the water. Other ingredients are optionally beef, chicken or primarily lamb and dried limes . To this end, rice or Tahchin (rice cake) served.
