criticism

The e-zine Laut.de rated GhostDeini The Great with three out of a possible five points. From the point of view of the editor Dani Fromm it is a “ foolproof project ” to put together a best-of album from “ the rich work of a Ghostface Killah. “Instead of“ lovelessly threading the singles ”, Ghostface Killah conjures up“ remix versions by the meter from the cylinder, plus fresh and familiar feature guests. “Killah's“ incomparably sparkling, liquid rap style ”harmonizes with“ melodic mixtures of soulful samples, funky bass lines, piano loops and atmospheric collaged background noise like hardly anyone else. “With Slept On Tony a new piece is represented on the compilation,“ where the funk flows out of every line ”. On the accompanying DVD, the rapper delivers a show " which you can see [...] the censored announcements as well as the sound that is not particularly thick. "
