Giacomo Caliendo (born August 28, 1942 in Saviano ) is an Italian politician of the Il Popolo della Libertà party .
Life
Caliendo is a lawyer and was Deputy Prosecutor General at the Supreme Court of Cassation in Italy. On April 13, 2008 he was elected to the Italian Senate , where he was a member until 2013. From 2008 to 2011 he was State Secretary in the Justice Ministry in the Berlusconi cabinet .
