Giovanni Carlo Antonelli (* 1611 or 1612 in Velletri ; † April 20, 1694 ) was an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Ferentino .

Life

Giancarlo Antonelli came from a patrician family Velletris. A relative of the same name Giancarlo Antonelli (1690–1769) was from 1752 auxiliary bishop in Velletri.

Antonelli was ordained a priest on July 29, 1635 . He was appointed Bishop of Ferentino on January 11, 1677. He was ordained bishop on January 24th of the same year by Cardinal Fabrizio Spada ; Co-consecrators were Archbishop Francesco Casati and Bishop Domenico Gianuzzi .
