Giancarlo Romitelli

Giancarlo Romitelli (* 1936 in Urbino ) is an Italian film director .

Romitelli worked from 1959 as an assistant director. By 1965 he worked in this role on a good two dozen films, mostly adventurous genre films. Then he directed two agent films (replaced in the second case by Renato Savino ). In 1974 followed the (later enriched with pornographic scenes and republished) Il torcinaso , which he shot under the pseudonym John Hencken . He was also involved in the script for all of his films.
