Gianfranco Angelucci

Gianfranco Angelucci (born April 12, 1946 in Ancona ) is an Italian writer , film director and author .

Life

Angelucci wrote his university thesis on Federico Fellini's cinema , with whom he worked for many years in various functions. For example, he was involved in the script of Fellini's Intervista and wrote books about several of the director's films. In 1981 he directed his only own film, Miele di donna . He also directed the musical Sei arrivata come un sogno, performed at the Acropolis in 1988, with the Greek singer Tolis Voskopoulos . Angelucci also worked as a television director.

Angelucci worked as a critic and guest lecturer at many film schools, was responsible for documentaries about Fellini and is director of the Federico Fellini Foundation . In the new century he was responsible for the representation and distribution of Italian films on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2009 he was one of the people in charge of the Festival del Mondo Antico .

He is also the author of a novel and numerous texts.
