Gianluca D'Angelo (born March 13, 1991 in Zurich ) is a Swiss - Italian football player . His last position as a professional was FC Winterthur from 2013 to 2017 .

Career

Gianluca D'Angelo played during his time with the juniors at FC Schwamedingen and the Grasshopper Club Zurich . In 2009 he was appointed to the first team by the U-21 team for the first time and made 13 appearances for Zurich in the 2009/10 season. He then played on loan for one season at FC Schaffhausen , where he played ten games. Immediately thereafter, he was loaned to AC Bellinzona for one season , where he also moved free of charge after the loan expired. After another season in Bellinzona and a total of 52 games for the Ticino team, he moved to FC Winterthur in the summer of 2013. He stayed there until the summer of 2017, when he did not receive another contract in Winterthur.

After a season without a club, D'Angelo is now playing for FC Dietikon in the 2nd interregional league , the fifth-highest league in Switzerland. (As of November 2018)
