Gianotti-Crosti Syndrome

The Gianotti-Crosti syndrome (also Acrodermatitis Papulosa eruptiva infantilis , Infantile papular acrodermatitis ) is a disease that probably as a result of hepatitis B occurs -Erstinfektion in children under ten years, mostly in male infants.

As a typical skin phenomenon, intermittent confluent reddish papules are found , preferably on the face, buttocks and on the extensor sides of the extremities with the elbow and hollow of the knees spared (in contrast to the Crosti-Gianotti syndrome ( Coxsackie virus A16), in which the acras are also involved ). Slightly increased body temperature and swelling of the spleen and lymph nodes are other symptoms.
