Gibson Hummingbird

The Gibson Hummingbird is a guitar model from the Gibson Guitar Corporation . The acoustic guitar was built from mahogany and spruce and was Gibson's first square boulder model, similar to the Martin D-28 guitars .

The Hummingbird was built from 1960, from 1969 the top bracing of the guitar changed from initially Single X Bracing to Double X Bracing. The Hummingbird is a famous singer-songwriter guitar played by Keith Richards for the Rolling Stones song Angie and other songs by the Stones, as well as Gram Parsons and Jimmy Page , among others . It is still available today.
