Avi Shlaim , author of "The Iron Wall: Israel and the Arab World" writes:

“In this study, Gilbert Achcar exposes numerous pseudo-scientific works on the subject and puts Arab attitudes towards the Holocaust and the Jews in their appropriate historical and intellectual context. It is a learned, astute, and extremely original investigation that sheds much-needed light on an area that has tended to be dominated by partisanship and propaganda. "

A detailed interview with Gilbert Achcar about his book appeared u. a. in the Israeli daily Jedi'ot Acharonot in Hebrew with an English translation in "The Jerusalem Report". The book was also discussed positively in the German-language press, although the highly sensitive topic also led to heated debates.
