Gili Meno is the middle of the three islands of the Gili island chain in the immediate vicinity of Lombok in Indonesia . The island is inhabited by about 400 people who live from tourism, coconut cultivation and fishing.

The fish stocks are enormous, which means that many of the residents earn a living. The underwater world is impressive, rare fish species, a colorful coral reef and giant turtles can be admired here.

The tourist facilities such as accommodation and restaurants are modest and sometimes difficult to find. The flora and fauna on the island are still partially untouched.

A visit to Meno is only possible by boat.
