Gilles Tréhin
Gilles Tréhin (* 1972 ) is a French art savant . He lives in Cagnes-sur-Mer on the Côte d'Azur .
Gilles only spoke his first word when he was three years old: airplane. At the age of five he discovered prime numbers and three-dimensional drawing. At the age of six, he was found to have perfect pitch and was able to solve complex arithmetic problems without thinking. When he was eight years old, he was diagnosed with autism and savant syndrome . Since 1984 he has been creating a fictional city called Urville in countless drawings . He later studied history in order to be able to give his city a history.
Gilles has had a relationship with an autistic woman, the mathematician Catherine Mouet, since 2003. The two live together, which is unusual for autistic people. In their imagination, the two live together in the city of Urville, which he designed and drawn, and Catherine was allowed to choose the district.
