Gintautas Bužinskas

Gintautas Bužinskas (born March 22, 1960 in Kaltanėnai , Švenčionys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian lawyer , legal scholar ( labor lawyer and civil lawyer ), professor at the Mykolas-Romer University , and former politician ( Minister of Justice of Lithuania ).

Life

Gintautas Bužinskas studied law at Vilnius University from 1978 to 1983 . He did his doctorate in the traineeship at the Law Faculty of Moscow University (1984–1988). After that, worked at Vilnius University. In 2004 he was elected for the Darbo partija in the Seimas and was Minister of Justice in the Brazauskas II cabinet until 2006 . From 2006 to 2008 he was again a lecturer at Vilnius University. From March 18, 2008 to 2013 he was elected director of the Utena College . Since 2012 he has been a professor in the Chair of Labor Law and Social Protection at the Law Faculty of the Mykolas Romer University

Gintautas Bužinskas is married and has three children.

His father is Petras Bužinskas , forester and former politician, deputy minister, deputy minister of forestry of Lithuania.
