Petras Bužinskas

Petras Bužinskas is a Lithuanian forester and former politician , Deputy Minister , Deputy Forestry Minister of Lithuania .

Life

In Soviet Lithuania , Bužinskas graduated from the Faculty of Forestry at Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in Kaunas and worked as a forest engineer . On March 11, 1992, the Lithuanian Prime Minister Gediminas Vagnorius appointed him Deputy Forest Minister in the Vagnorius I cabinet . In 1997 Bužinskas headed a subdivision in the Forest Department at the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania .

His son is Gintautas Bužinskas (* 1960), lawyer, former Minister of Justice.
