Giorgio Bosco

Giorgio Bosco (* 20th July 1932 in Rome ) is an Italian diplomat in retirement .

Education

In 1954 he graduated from La Sapienza University with a law degree .

Life

In 1956 he joined the foreign service. From 1972 to 1975 he was an observer in Mexico of the Organismo para la Proscripción de las Armas Nucleares en la América Latina y el Caribe . From 1975 to 1978 he was Consul General in New Orleans and he dedicated the session of the General Assembly of the United Nations as Italian delegate of the Sixth Committee and took part in some meetings on the Law of the Sea . From 1978 to 1982 he was ambassador to La Paz ( Bolivia ). From 1985 to 1990 he had exequatur as consul general in Berlin . From 1990 until he was ambassador to Rangoon ( Ireland ).

He is married and has a son.
