Giorgio Mannini
Ottavio Giorgio Mannini (born September 30, 1884 in Florence , † June 27, 1953 in Rome ) was an Italian film director .
Life
Mannini worked as a journalist for La Tribuna in his hometown and moved to Rome in 1920, where he began his film career when he became assistant director for Carmine Gallone . The following year, he was the co-director at La figlia della tempesta and turned three more films until 1923, including the one in India resulting Savitri Satyavan . In 1934 a single sound film followed, La serva padrona ; except for this and another assistant director for Gallone in 1937, Mannini stayed with his work as a journalist.
