Giovana Queiroz Costa (born June 21, 2003 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian soccer player .

Life

After she was born in São Paulo, Brazil , she grew up in the United States. She now lives with her family in Spain Madrid .

Club career

Until the 2017/18 season she played in youth at Atlético Madrid , after which she moved to CFF Madrid , where she plays in the first Spanish women's league, Primera División . Since the 2019/20 season, she has also played in the B-team, which plays in the second division.

National team career

For the U-17 of the Spanish national team, it was used for the first time in a friendly match against the team from Sweden on September 17, 2019 . In the 29th minute she was able to score her first goal for the national team. In her second game against the United States, she was able to achieve a three-pack; that game ended in a 3-4 victory.

On February 15, 2020, she was also used in the U-17 team of Brazil in a victory over Austria , in which she also scored the goal of the final 2-0 in the 82nd minute.
