Ulf Häussler

Ulf Häussler (born June 28, 1966 ) is a Brigadier General of the Army of the Bundeswehr and the commander of the Feldjäger command of the Bundeswehr .

Military career

Training and first uses

Häussler stepped 1985 in the armed forces and completed to 1988, the officer training of the field Jägertruppe . From 1988 to 1992 he studied business administration at the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich . After completing his studies, he worked as a platoon leader and leader of a military police command in Ulm from 1992 to 1997 and from 1997 to 1998 as a company commander of the military police training company in Stetten am kalten Markt . This was followed by a renewed transfer to Bonn, where he was deployed from 2008 to 2010 as General Staff Officer to the Chief of Staff, Major General Werner Freers , in the Army Command , and from 2010 to 2011 as Adjutant to the Army Inspector , Lieutenant General Werner Freers. From 2013 to 2014 he was employed as Chief of Staff of the 1st Panzer Division in Hanover . This was followed by two ministerial posts as Head of Management Development in the Federal Ministry of Defense , based in Berlin, from 2015 to 2016, and from 2017 to 2019 as Office Manager of State Secretary Gerd Hoofe .

Service as a general

Since June 12, 2019, Häussler has been the successor of Brigadier General Udo Schnittker , commander of the Bundeswehr military police command and supreme military police officer. In this post he was promoted to Brigadier General himself in March 2020.
