Giovanni Battista Scapinelli di Léguigno (born October 14, 1908 in Verolanuova , † June 30, 1971 ) was an Italian Catholic curia bishop .

Career

Scapinelli di Léguigno was ordained a priest on June 10, 1933. From 1956 to 1961 he was Undersecretary of State for Extraordinary Affairs in the Papal State Secretariat . On August 28, 1962 he was by Pope John XXIII. appointed titular archbishop of Laodicea ad Libanum and consecrated bishop by him on September 21, 1962.
