Giovanni Bonifacio Bagatta

Giovanni Bonifacio Bagatta (* 1649 ; † 1702 ) was an Italian theologian and author of the 17th century.

He took the vows of the Theatine Order in Verona and taught philosophy in Verona . His extensive main Latin work is the Admiranda orbis christiani (first edition Venice 1680), in which he systematically arranged around 10,000 examples of miracles, a typical example of baroque compilation literature.
