Girls to Girls , or GTG for short, was the youngest girl group from Switzerland to date .

history

The band consisted of Raffaela Emini (* 1989), Fabienne Louves (* 1986) and Sarah Furrer (* 1987). All three girls attended the same school and appeared in a mini playback show in Lucerne as early as 1998 , where they took first place. The three subsequently appeared at other events in Switzerland. During an appearance at a charity event, the three girls were discovered by music producer Hape Schuwey in December 1998. In January 1999 the group recorded their first single, I Feel So Good , and signed a recording deal with Koch Music .

More singles followed, including self-written songs. In November 1999 Girls to Girls went on tour as the opening act for Boney M. A film project followed: the group was followed by Swiss television for the entire year 2000. The documentary on the group had its premiere on March 1, 2001 on SF1 as part of the DOK program . In 2000, the group's first album Jump was released by Koch Music. The single release Hula Hop was able to place on July 23, 2000 for one week at number 86 in the Swiss charts.

Girls to Girls appeared as the opening act at three concerts by the band No Angels and performed the biggest performance in their band's history at Open Air Tufertschwil SG . Although the plan was to record a second album in 2002, which should be released in 2003, the group broke up in 2003 as the band members wanted to finish their training.

Singer Fabienne Louves reappeared in 2007 when she won the MusicStar talent show . She is still active as a singer today.
