UAB Girteka Logistics is a logistics company based in the city of Vilnius ( Lithuania ). It was founded in 1996 by Mindaugas Raila (* 1972) and has business partners in the Baltic States , Russia , Belarus and Western Europe. More than 7,100 employees work in the Girteka Group, 90% of whom are drivers. The company belongs to the Me Investicija group .
At peak times, up to 200 partly company-owned trucks deliver goods a day. The vehicles can be loaded and unloaded simultaneously on over 37 ramps. In 2011 the subsidiary UAB "Girteka logistics" alone achieved a turnover of 485.778 million Litas .

Girteka operates a warehouse for frozen and dry goods near Vilnius. More than 100 employees are employed here. The warehouse itself has around 30,000 pallet spaces and is divided into several areas. Over 13,000 pallets can be stored in the cold store. The cold store has temperatures between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius. Daily goods are stored here on a total of 7,000 pallet spaces. Around 10,000 pallets can be stored in the dry store.
