The T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH (T-Systems MMS) is an IT service provider based in Dresden , which as a companion of large corporations and medium-sized enterprises in the digital transformation understands. Other locations in addition to the headquarters are in Berlin, Bonn, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Munich and Jena. In 2019 T-Systems MMS achieved a turnover of 176 million euros with 2100 employees.

The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of T-Systems International GmbH and, like its parent company, belongs to the Deutsche Telekom AG group. It also uses the T-Systems logo, simply adding “T-Systems Multimedia Solutions” in text form.

history

The company was founded in 1995 under the name "Multimedia Software GmbH Dresden" as a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. The aim was to develop solutions for interactive television. In addition to CD-ROMs and kiosk systems for companies, multimedia applications for the Internet and e-commerce were added later. The company now implements solutions for customers from a wide variety of industries. According to the company, the focus is on digital commerce, websites, intranet, social business , marketing, big data , mobile solutions, retail, security and Industry 4.0 . The range of services extends from consulting and project management through content, test and support services to the development of software. This includes web and application management and test and integration centers for software quality, accessibility and IT security.

Management

The management consists of two heads: Ralf Pechmann, with main responsibility for sales, marketing, customers and Marcus Gaube as commercial director of the company. Former managing directors are:

Initiatives and Awards

In 2005 the company initiated the Dresden Future Forum on the subject of “Working and Living in the Digital World”, which has taken place five times since then.

In 2007 T-Systems Multimedia Solutions was a co-founder of the “Software Working Group” of the Silicon Saxony industry association .

Since 2009 the company has held an annual “Hacker Day”. A special focus of this and other events from 2012 onwards was regularly accessibility in IT.

In 2006, T-Systems Multimedia Solutions, both winners of the Ludwig Erhard Prize in the category "Medium-sized enterprises", as well as of the European Foundation for Quality Management awarded (EFQM) European Quality Award . The EFQM award was given for special employee orientation in the “People Development and Involvement” category. MMS had already received an award in the “Continuous Learning, Innovation and Improvement” category last year.

T-Systems Multimedia Solutions has received several awards from the Social Business Leader Award from the ISG Information Services Group and the iF Design Award.

In 2017 the company was one of the winners of the Outstanding Security Performance Award.

In 2018 and 2020 the company was named best consultant by the business magazine brand eins.

In addition, T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH has received the Great Place to Work Award several times as one of Germany's best employers.
