The Crnogorski Telekom AD (German Montenegrin Telekom ; by 2006 Telekom Crne Gore ) is a telecommunications company in Montenegro with headquarters in the capital Podgorica. It is listed as a joint stock company on the Montenegro Stock Exchange. The majority owner is Hrvatski Telekom , a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom .

history

The company was founded on December 31, 1998 alongside Pošta Crne Gore as one of the successor companies of the state-owned PTT Montenegro.

In 2005 it was decided to privatize Telekom Crne Gore. On April 1, 2005, the Hungarian Magyar Telekom, which belongs to Deutsche Telekom, acquired a total of 76.53 percent of the shares, which were taken over by Hrvatski Telekom in January 2017. In September 2006 the two brand names T-Com and T-Mobile were established. Telekom Crne Gore changed its name to Crnogorski Telekom.

On May 1, 2009, the two subsidiaries T-Mobile Crna Gora and Internet Crna Gora were merged with Crnogorski Telekom.
