The Detecon International GmbH is a German, internationally active, specializing in management and technology consulting company with headquarters in Cologne and a subsidiary of T-Systems International GmbH .

history

The Detecon International GmbH is from on 1 August 2002 merger of the consulting company Detecon and Diebold emerged. Diebold was founded in 1954 by John Diebold in New York City . In 1959 Diebold opened the first branches in Germany. The first Swiss branch was founded in 1986; At the same time, the consulting portfolio was expanded to include business strategies and process optimization. In August 2012, Detecon relocated its headquarters from Bonn to Cologne at Sternengasse 14-16.

Detecon , then still operating as Deutsche Telepost Consulting , was founded in 1977 to offer consulting services for the telecommunications industry. On the basis of this expertise and the growing importance of IT and telecommunications technologies beyond the boundaries of telecommunications, Detecon now advises customers from almost all industries. The service focus is on consulting solutions that result from the use of information and communication technologies.
